About the Role

A very exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join the team of a fast-growing company that has recently become part of The Citation Group. We are looking for a Product Owner that is passionate about online client experiences, curious about understanding client needs, and a flair for innovating and developing technology.

The ideal candidate will push our strategy to exceed client expectations, and to be market leaders in the cyber security field. As a Product Owner, you will always look for ways to improve our products and services to make them more efficient and user friendly. You will be working closely with both the software development team and our clients, and will be responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer requirements in alignment with our overall strategy..

  • Serve as a product expert, product evangelist, and the voice of the customer
  • Monitor competitors and their software solutions, proactively identifying and recommending opportunities to ensure Mitigate’s offering remains competitive. 
  • Define the goals for the development projects you are working on in line with priorities set by the CTO.
  • Work cross-functionally to gather Responsibilities, customer feedback, and communicate priorities
  • Create mockups and prototypes to assist with development
  • Analyze metrics to understand customer and product performance
  • Manage the product and sprint backlogs, prioritising based on the overall strategy and business objectives set by the Product Lead.
  • Oversee development and sprint cycles, evaluating progress at every stage.
  • Conduct Retrospectives, Reviews and Sprint Planning.
  • Report on product KPI’s, ROI and user satisfaction.
  • Ability to write clear briefs, functional documentation and communicate with development teams.
  • Facilitate the successful launch of new and enhanced features to internal and external stakeholders, liaising with Marketing to communicate using the correct ‘tone of voice’.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in working party and UAT sessions approving feature changes and assuring quality standards throughout all stages of the product’s development.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
  • 3+ years’ of experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Scrum or Agile experience
